The Shepherdstown Middle School FFA chapter celebrated a successful fundraiser this fall after selling more than 800 mums to community members. The colorful flowers arrived in two truckloads and covered the school's front lawn as volunteers organized orders.
Funds raised from the mum sale will help support FFA students as they attend state and national conventions, leadership events, and competitions throughout the year. These opportunities allow members to develop leadership skills, expand their agricultural knowledge, and represent the school on larger stages.
FFA members would like to thank everyone who purchased mums and helped make this fundraiser a tremendous success.
