To begin the banquet, FFA members, their family, friends and supporters enjoyed a catered meal provided by The Feedlot. Ashley Ware supplied the sweet treats which included dirt cake with a shovel spoon, a chocolate fountain for dipping, and other sweet treats. After the meal, Hunter Ware, the current FFA President, began the meeting. The opening ceremony was impressive when officers spoke their parts from memory while standing at spots throughout the cafeteria. Many awards and recognitions were then presented. Each year FFA picks an animal for the theme of the year. This year's animal was the cow, and next school year's animal will be the goat.
