Five SMS FFA members took a trip to Charleston during WV FFA and Farm Bureau at the Capital days for some advocacy training and to experience the legislative process firsthand. One highlight of the trip was a Farm Bureau dinner, Taste of West Virginia, in which all the food was from WV sources. Hunter Cogan claimed that "the trip to Charleston was a great experience!"
