During 5th period on January 13th, the top four teams of first semester STEAM classes competed to see who the SMS Semester Tug-O-War Champs would be. Each team built their robot during their STEAM class with Mrs. Schriever and battled their classmates’ robots to make it to the finals. During the final competition, each team tugged each of the other teams to determine the winner. The first semester Tug-O-War champs are Jason Lang and Christopher Prather. At the end of the school year, they will battle against the 2nd semester champs to decide the SMS Top Tug Champ of the year.
